I'm trying to decide where to stay in Negril--Country Country or Beach House Villas. Any advice?

We've done all inclusives in Mexico and love them, but feel that we'd be able to experience Negril more if we stay at a smaller place. Any advice would be great. Thanks!I'm trying to decide where to stay in Negril--Country Country or Beach House Villas. Any advice?
Have you checked www.tripadvisor.com?

That is your best bet for accurate reviews of those places.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!I'm trying to decide where to stay in Negril--Country Country or Beach House Villas. Any advice?
The House Villas were great the last time I spent 2 whole weeks in Nigril. They are perfect for a summer vaccation
wow negril i love it there, i'm there alot cos my hubby's jamaican, was there just a few weeks ago, we stay at the rhyen hotel, (dont think i spelt it right lol i got a flyer of theres somewhere i'll check and let u no later) its a lovely hotel, very clean it got pool bar it got everything, its good value for money, negril is the most beautiful place in the world,
Beach house villas but if you want a full thrust into our rural culture i suggest country but either one is wonderful. But i think now we have some villas in the ';country';
Both are very nice.. I like the end of the beach by Country Country a little more than BHV.. But both really are very nice. BHV's beach front is a little smaller than CC. Both are close to great places to eat, but BHV is closer to the night life and closer to the center of town. Neither one of them had a pool.

There's a really good map for Negril there as well as some great places to stay, eat and play. I love walking from BHV all the way down to CC, and stopping anywhere I want along the way.

So really it comes down to you. What does your gut say? What are you looking for as far as amenities? And which will one give you a better price so you can have more $$ to spend?

Have a great trip.
Just returned from Negil last night! We stayed at Sandals in Negril/lovely. We visited Blue Cave Castle on the cliffs and Tensing Pen. I will stay on the cliffs next time this fall for my anniversary. Tensing is about $200 a night. (breakfast included) Blue Cave is $50-$125. a nite. Several local shops and restaurants across the street. Both places have a small frig in room. Good luck. I would love to stay in Negril for about 6 wks. one day!
