how do i get the smell of the salty air of a beach house in my room?

Sprinkle Arm and Hammer baking soda evenly in the carpet. Let is sit for about 15 min. Vacuum thoroughly and you should be fine. If that doesn't work, would need to scrap and repaint the room. The old paint may have had absorbed moisture and is now growing mold.
