Lots of windows on the waterfront side...vaulted ceilings for heat control....hard surface flooring...lighter colors on walls and trim and furniture to promote a 'cooler' feeling (no dark reds or dark greens)...open feeling with fewer walls except for bedrooms...lightweight fabrics on windows, or none at all and use shutters instead.Whats a good concept for the design of a beach house?
I like the simple ones from the 50s and 70s..... I hate these new massive mic mansion houses. Isn't the whole point of going to the shore to be one with nature..... not over powering it with crap?Whats a good concept for the design of a beach house?
Single story 3 BR 2BA on 10' concrete pillars. (When no hurricanes, it makes a shady spot to park)
