Best location for beach house in San Diego?

Hi all! My friends and I are trying to rent a beach house in San Diego, and aren't quite sure what is the best area. We are all bar attending age, so no old folks here! Is Mission Beach a good place? Any other ideas? Also, if you know any good sites (or someone who rents a beach house!) that would be great! ThanksBest location for beach house in San Diego?
La Jolla is my absolute favorite place around San Diego. I rented a beach home there over the summer.

If you are looking for a cute place near the bars then anywhere along the boardwalk between Pacific Beach and Mission Beach will be great for you. Steer clear of Ocean Beach. It may be a bit cheaper but the area while fun for a visit is not your most ideal for a beach house.

Closer to Pacific Beach you will find younger, rowdier people and a ton of bars and restaurants. Closer to Mission Beach you will have Belmont Park where they have an arcade, roller coaster, a few other rides, etc. Places to eat, a few bars and more of a family oriented crowd. It is not really ';old folks'; just less of a party environment.
Well it depends on ur style, if you like people with no money and are trashy then, i would suggest PB and Mission Beach. But, if you want to make good money, then, Del Mar and La Jolla is where u can make more bang for your buck! Good Luck!

Trust me.. on this one!
Pacific Beach

Mission Beach

Ocean Beach

La Jolla

and in North County..

Leucadia

Encinitas

Cardiff

Solana Beach

Del Mar
Mission would be good for you. Dont stay on the Bayside, as its quieter, youll bug your neighbors . Id go north of the roller coaster, more people, bars, and P.B. is close.
