We are a group of 18-21 year olds looking for a beach house to stay in this summer in north carolina?

We have emailed countless owners from rental sites and checked hundreds of rental sites. No one seems to be comfortable renting out their house and the rental companies do not allow anyone under the age of 25. If anyone has any suggestions it'd be great because we have been looking for 6 months now and we are running out of timeWe are a group of 18-21 year olds looking for a beach house to stay in this summer in north carolina?
Hmmm... My son is 21 and I'm not sure I'd let him stay in this house all summer with his friends. He's okay -- but -- what about the friends? It's a pretty tough call.

I know it's not NC, but I've thoroughly enjoyed Kingston Plantation in North Myrtle Beach, SC. They've got loads of apartments there, both beach side and lake side, and beautiful white sands at the beach. It's about a 30 minute drive up to the NC state line. Nice sculpted lawns, nice apartments, although they're around 25 years old. I believe they're leased out by the main hotel on the property, Embassy Suites. You OUGHT to have no trouble renting a place there for the summer. As long as you have a credit card, that should be enough to book, I should think.

Check out the Resort Map at the site, under Directions. It gives you some sense of the size of the place. It's big enough to absorb you and your friends for the summer, but definitely private, very private.

Good luck!
