What are the pros and cons of having a beach house?

I need to kno wats so good about beach houses and wat r some of the bad things that they have or wat can happen to them.What are the pros and cons of having a beach house?
Beach houses require a great deal of upkeep, since they get nuked each Winter by wind-driven sand. Trust me, I maintain one. They also need to be heated all Winter, costly since they are often not insulated. If not, you have to go through the hassle of draining all the water out of the whole system. I also do that every year.





What you really want is a good friend with a beach house, not owning one yourself.What are the pros and cons of having a beach house?
get a beach house 2 or 3 hundred yards from shore. that way in a few years you will be right on the beach, maybe able to fish off porch.
A beach house? Mmm well in the summer (if it is sunny) great for getting changed in for a swim, sitting outside and watching the world go by, Ect. In the winter? well with globel warming and high tides it could be flooded or even worse be washed away all together, plus they must be kept up to date I E painted and repaired Ect.
