How do I redecorate the game room in my vacation rental beach house?

http://www.obx360.com/joelamb/074/rec_ro鈥?/a>

We are trying to liven this room up. We are thinking of painting the room a bright blue. What can we do to make it more fun?

Thanks for your help. How do I redecorate the game room in my vacation rental beach house?

Create a focal point by hanging a mural or wallpaper between the two windows

Bright blue might be a bit too much, what about a shade

of ocean blue to coincide with the felt on the pool table.

I think painting the walls in rich deep colors, different colors would be good. Put some 3D art on the wall or movie posters, they have some amazing 3D art at Bed Bath and Beyond.

The problem now is the white makes it look like a utility room.

Any color would be more fun
It's at the beach???

Why not get some used sports stuff for the beach to hang on the walls??? You know, old fishing gear, boogie boards (they'd be cute

lightweight shelves), old surfboard (could just lean against a wall),

some net, a life preserver, ... you get the idea.
Paint all the doors white, trim in black, and use and ocean blue on the walls.
