I need some insider info into what iots like how strict the rental people are if there are hidden fees etc... id like to know what your experience was like. We are thinking of renting from surf or sound realty in Salvo north carolina on the outer banks.Has anyone ever rented a beach house in Rodanthe North Carolina or any where even ?
I've rented lots of beach houses all over the coast (farther north, usually) and it really depends on the rental agency. Make sure to read the contract very thoroughly - any ';hidden'; fees will be in it. Ask questions about any potential charges you see.
The most ';strict'; you will see is that they expect you to clean up according to whatever contract/agreement you sign and if you break it, you pay for it, so be careful around the house. Otherwise, usually, we've had great experiences with all the houses we've rented on the beach.
