Looking for ideas on beach house look?

I live in the pacific northwest, but would look to redo with New England beachy look?? (where I am originally from)Colors??Looking for ideas on beach house look?
Lots of crisp whites, sand colors, blues...Minimal clutter and decorations...Looking for ideas on beach house look?
a slightly muted light blue with an apricoty/peachy (cool water, warm beach). But the FUN part is where you take get some wood (plywood ripped down into strips) and some nails, glue etc and build a 10-12 inch deep box whatever size you want your coffee table and lay a glass top.... inside fill with sand, make a fake ocean out of foam or paper, and use birthday cake beach decorations and make a beach scene inside. Only your imagination will limit you.
Tacky Tacky Tacky - Give up on the beach looky thing and get a decorator. These themey things are pretty ugly.
aqua, sand, a slightly greyed down white or pale ivory, im planning to do mybathroom like that, and im going to use the actual sanded paint, in a sand color, on the bottom of the wall, in a pattern to look like sand dunes. you could mix a little darker tan with part of it, to create shadows if you wish. then a medium aqua blue for the water, and pale aqua for the sky, then im going to use a pearl white with a sea sponge to make some clouds, and some little wavelets in the water, then a sage green and darker tan to paint on some sea grass, or seaoats along the sand, then ill glue on some real shells with hot glue gun. if you wanted to do a sand fence like they have on the beaches in the north east you could get some lath strips and paint white then antique with some grey, so it looks like aged paint, and stick them on the wall , comming out of the sand dunes. like an old blown over fence. you can paint some gulls in the sky if you are a bit more creative. im also going to make a chandelier by covering the ceiling light with sea glass and hanging some down from strips of ribbon which i will glue the sea glass bits onto.
