Can anybody recommend a great oceanfront beach house to rent along the North Carolina Coast?

Last year we stayed in Corolla OBX. What other beach towns in NC are great for family vacations? Have you stayed at a nice oceanfront property that you would recommend? I hear Ocean Isle Beach is very nice.Can anybody recommend a great oceanfront beach house to rent along the North Carolina Coast?
I strongly recommend Ocean Isle Beach, NC. I own Knots Landing at OIB. Many people have called our house, ';the nicest house on the beach';. It's 8 bedrooms and 7 1/2 baths - sleeps 24 and it's on the ocean.

Yes I sure can. We stay at a great house on Oak Island twice per year and we absolutely love it. The people who own it are great and they have done a nice job of maintaining it.


And it is oceanfront. Walk right out the back door and you're on the beach!

Have you discovered Tripadvisor.com yet? If you type Outer Banks North Carolina in the search box then click on Forum, you can post your question and get a lot of information from people who have visited as well as people who live there. I don't travel anywhere without spending some time looking through the Tripadvisor site.





That said, we've stayed at Corolla Light, Whalehead Beach, and Duck. Ocracoke Island is lovely too.
